Behind every strong community initiative is something less visible – but deeply essential: internal strength. At the Ethiopian Association of Kitchener Waterloo (EAKW), we recognize that none of our efforts can succeed without continuously strengthening both our organization and the community we serve. This journey of growth is ongoing. We invest in ourselves through trainings, workshops, and experience-sharing sessions that build our skills, knowledge, and leadership capacity. Today, we are proud to be working closely with more than 15 donors and partners who support our vision and help us move forward. We are also committed to strong governance.By developing clear human resource and financial strategies, we ensure that our work is guided by accountability, transparency, and trust. Our strategic plan provides a clear direction, while our communication and fundraising strategies support us in achieving our goals. We firmly believe in the power of partnership. Our collaborations with organizations such as Family & Children’s Services and TAIBU Community Health Centre are a testament to what can be achieved when we work together. Our capacity is not only about leadership and resources – it is about mobilizing volunteers, engaging our entire community, and building unity. Together, we are creating a strong foundation for lasting and meaningful change.
